Digital Viewpoint Photography
Viewpoint photography is taken from a variety of locations surrounding the Sites in order to assess the views of a range of receptors such as road users, cyclists or people within residential areas. This photography is used as part of the Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment process to help understand the level of visual effect and to ultimately guide the design and layout of the solar projects. At this stage, the photography can be viewed in conjunction with the proposed Site Layout.
The photography submitted within the final application will include fully realistic images (photomontages) to show how the solar projects would be experienced at different stages throughout their operational lifetime. These viewpoints are agreed with the relevant consenting authorities and the photomontages will also be agreed once they are compiled.
